The Drifting Isle Chronicles : Black Mercury by ElsaKroese The Drifting Isle Chronicles : Black Mercury by ElsaKroese
This is the first of a series of 4 book covers that I painted for a Steampunk shared world project called 'The Drifting Isle Chronicles'. This one is for Charlotte E. English her new Novel: Black Mercury (#1 in the series). I've had the pleasure of proofreading it and I loved it. On the cover are the main characters Cas, Clara and Min (the pigeon).

The novel isn't published yet, but once it's available I'll add the link to the book. In the upcoming weeks I'll also post the other 3 covers :) (when exactly, depends on the release schedule of the authors).

Author's blog, and version with typografie: [link]
More info about the book: [link]

The cover is (c) by me and Charlotte E. English.

Wow, this is stunning! I love the mood of the piece :)
If you don't mind me asking, where did/are you going to college? What did/are you majoring in? I really want to do something similar to you (edit books and illustrate covers), so I'm very curious!
