hi i want to make a book cover for a friend and i was wondering how big are they? like 0x0.

There's no -one size suits all- in the case of book covers. It all depends on what your friend is using as publishing platform. If it's an e-book, you'd have to look at the most common specs of e-reader devices. If it's going to be a printed volume your friend will have to give you the dimensions of the book size he has in mind. I hope that helps
